This notice explains how personal data is processed on fellfolio.com and describes the iPhone app’s current development status. The app is not yet available on the App Store.

Hosting and technical access data
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Requests involve processing IP addresses, requested pages, times, browser and connection information to deliver the site, keep it reliable and protect against abuse.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable information website. This connection data is technically necessary to access the site.
Cloudflare operates a worldwide network; data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the USA. Its data processing terms describe safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, EU standard contractual clauses. Retention depends on purpose, security needs and legal duties, as detailed in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Interactive examples and embedded content
This site uses no advertising pixels, analytics scripts or external fonts. Images are served with the website. There is no contact form. Notes and completions in the fictional care example remain only in your browser’s memory and reset on reload. They are not sent to us.
The host’s necessary security functions may process connection data and, where needed, security cookies. Cloudflare explains these in its security-cookie documentation.
Email contact
When you write to us, we process your email address, message and information needed to respond. Our email service is Apple iCloud Mail. General enquiries are handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; contractual enquiries rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. To protect our domain from sender spoofing, Cloudflare also processes aggregate DMARC reports about sending systems and authentication results, based on our legitimate security interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We keep correspondence as needed to deal with the enquiry, necessary follow-up questions or legal retention duties. Please do not send passwords, payment details or complete health records.
Your rights
Subject to the legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Write to [email protected].
You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Baden-Württemberg.

The iPhone app in development
Profiles, health records, reminders, photos and documents are stored locally on your iPhone. Core features need no Fellfolio account and work offline. Optional private iCloud sync uses your Apple Account; release still requires testing across devices.
A private care circle shares only selected profile and care information, tasks and the care journal. Your full private health and document collection is not shared automatically. Access roles and invitations are being tested with multiple Apple Accounts. A sent handover PDF remains a static copy that cannot be recalled.
You select individual photos using the native picker. Camera access is requested only for a scan you start. Supported text recognition runs locally. Notifications are scheduled through iOS after your permission. Widgets display pet names, photos or reminder titles only after your explicit choice.
Reports, emergency cards and backups are created on the device. You choose their content and recipients. Full backups are unencrypted files and should be kept in a protected location you choose. After preview and confirmation, restoration creates new copies without overwriting existing pets.
Premium purchases
Premium uses Apple StoreKit with RevenueCat. This processes a pseudonymous purchase identifier and purchase-status information. Pet profiles, health records, photos and documents are not sent to RevenueCat for this purpose. The app has no advertising and does not sell pet data.
